We see now that many non-native speakers of English seek to learn English. They are right. English Language is considered as a mediator language; speakers from different countries who don't know the language of eachother use English to be able to communicate. May be it is difficult and it will take a long time to learn the language of different countries, so it is easy and may be good to remove some of the language barriers. In many chat rooms, we find that many people chat in English.
The importance of English Language does not lie in this reason only. In addition, Many non- native students all over the world try their best to learn English and to take the important exams like TOEFL ( Test Of English as a Foreign Language) to be able to apply for many scholarships to continue their under-graduate, graduate, or Post-graduate studies in United States, England, or many other countries. Even if you want to study language like Jappanese, Korean, or any other language, you have to know English to be able to communicate with others because these language courses contain different students from differnt countries. Educators can not teach each student in their languages , so they pick English to communicate.
I'm sorry If I was talkative in my first and second paragraphs, but I really want to show to myself before you how English is the most important language in our life nowadays.
